Title:

• CTO (DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING)...EARLY STAGE START-UP

The Company:

• A current, Boston-based start-up in a collaborative RIA (Rich Internet Application) Web environment, with a focus on Education.
• Four (4) existing full-time employees plus two (2) technical from a consulting development company.
• Targeting September, 2008 launch.
• Currently funded with seed money, and going or Series A financing in 3-6 months.
• Has current list of partners, including both quantity and quality.

Salary:

• Maximum of 50k base, plus equity and benefits.

The Job:

• Partner and oversee the implementation of the product and help shape the vision.
• Join the current four (4) person team, and lead the technical implementation arm of the operation.
• The technical work is currently outsourced. This person will be responsible for managing that and eventually bringing it in-house.

Qualifications:

• Very bright
• Well-educated
• Expert in PHP and LAMP technologies.
• Understand the nature of a start-up (low money and high equity).
• Want a start-up.

Status:

• Am dealing directly with the Founder, who is eager to see an ideal person. Can be an immediate hire.
